Our Story
Hutke means “different” in colloquial Hindi. Meant for the wild in spirit, Hutke is for people who want their homes to stand out from the rest.
Hutke began as a dream woven with textiles, threads and colours — a dream our founder, Sohini Mukherjee, imagined as a teenager. What started as a passion for creating art with fabric and thread grew into a platform where women artisans can showcase their skills, creativity and talent while making a living through their craft.
Every Hutke product is handmade with love and care. Behind every piece are hours of experimentation, countless trials, days of frustration and moments of pure joy. What you see is not simply a finished product, but the story of the hands and minds that brought it to life.
When you buy from Hutke, you aren't just buying a product. You are taking home a piece of our heart, a part of our soul, and a moment from our journey.
